Reliable fuel supply to an engine is a basic requirement for trouble-free operation of every vehicle. In this connection, the fuel pump needs to tackle even the most extreme environmental conditions. For this task, Pierburg supplies the appropriate fuel pump for all applications and installation conditions.

As a logical complement to the pump program, Pierburg has developed complete in-tank modules around the fuel pumps that make the pump a complete fuel supply system with numerous additional functions. These functions include the delivery of fuel to the evacuation location (reservoir for curve driving ), the tank filling level detector, the improved fitting of the pump inside the tank as well as the safe and absolutely tight closing of the tank installation opening. The basis of fuel supply is a two-stage fuel pump whose first pump stage fills the reservoir, from which the second pump stage (pressure stage)takes the fuel. With this concept, fuel supply is guaranteed even under extreme driving and environmental conditions in an ideal way
